Worth it Wednesdays |
You are making a difference!
On May 1, thousands of NJEA members participated in a statewide Day of Action.
Because of your efforts, our member-led campaign to Fix The Unfairness continues to gain momentum in the Statehouse. Elected officials are talking about us. Elected officials can no longer ignore the problems facing public school employees.
We’re not done yet. We must urge our elected officials to support public schools and hold them accountable for their commitment to public education. We need you!
On May 15, NJEA members will be gathering outside of 15 different legislative offices around the state. We’re asking you to stand up for the students you educate and the profession you love by attending one of the 15 events. You can sign up to attend here.
After you’ve signed up, please have a conversation where you share this information with at least one colleague.
Be sure to wear #RedForEd and post photos on social media using #FixTheUnfairness, #RedForEd and #WeAreWorthIt.
Thank you!
In power,
Marie Blistan, NJEA President
